Our Team: Michelle Wein, Associate
Michelle is our senior associate and she has extensive business litigation and employment litigation experience.
Michelle’s business litigation experience includes breach of contract, fraud, business divorce, fiduciary duty and all manner of related claims. Michelle has experience with discovery, mediation, depositions, and motions practice.
Michelle’s employment litigation practice includes wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Age Discrimination in Employment Act cases in state and federal court, and in administrative forums like the EEOC and the Department of Labor. Having represented both employees and employers, Michelle has unique insight with respect to the legal strategies at play on both sides of the table.
Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University, where she was actively involved in various social, academic, and philanthropic organizations. Michelle received her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law, cum laude. Michelle also studied law abroad at St. Edmunds Hall, Oxford University. During law school, Michelle worked as a law clerk for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Office of General Counsel (Construction), before clerking with a private firm specializing in complex commercial litigation. In addition to graduating law school with honors and in the top of her class, Michelle has been a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star.
