Biography

Jodi is an experienced and accomplished Senior Business Litigation Associate at Cohan Law Group. 

Jodi is licensed in Pennsylvania and is awaiting Bar results in Georgia.  Jodi began her legal career in 2007 as a judicial law clerk in Philadelphia’s business court, the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Commerce Program.  She then spent two years as a litigation associate at a mid-sized firm practicing insurance defense work and five years working as a litigation associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.  

Jodi grew up in South Florida, graduated from the University of Florida, and received her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, where she graduated cum laude, was on moot court, competed as a finalist in the Judge G. Fred DiBona Competition and received a certificate in Business Organizations Law. While in law school, Jodi clerked for a judge in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. 

Jodi has experience representing a wide range of clients, from banks to individuals, in a variety of litigation matters.  She is committed to providing client-focused representation and achieving the best possible results for her clients.   

In her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her daughters and regularly hosts charity events to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta NICUs. Jodi published a children’s book, The Girl Who Lives in the Sky, in 2019.  A portion of the proceeds from the book go to the children’s hospital NICUs.
